Student Internship Opportunities
Receiving career related experience plays an important part in your career developmental process. Southern Therapy Services, Inc. provides hands on training with our therapists for physical and occupational therapy students.
Interns will receive: training with certified physical and occupational therapists, professional development in your related field of study, and the opportunity to attend our in-house continuing education courses with topics related to orthopedics, pediatrics, prosthetics, orthotics, and ethics.

Southern Therapy Services Carrollton facility currently employees over 45 physical and occupational therapists, certified physical therapy assistants, certified occupational therapy assistants, as well as our excellent support staff. Our Carrollton facility is located at 812 South Park Street. The city of Carrollton is located 50 miles west of Atlanta, 80 miles east of Birmingham, and 14 miles south of Interstate 20. Southern Therapy Services, Inc. has operated a Bremen facility for 10 years and recently moved to the third floor of Higgins General Hospital located at 204 Allen Memorial Drive, Suite 301. Our Bremen facility currently employs Physical Therapists, a Physical Therapy Aide, as well as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Villa RicaVilla Rica is a part of Southern Therapy Services, Inc. and is located at 690 Dallas HWY. Our trained staff includes Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Aides, and Physical Therapy Assistants. Both Villa Rica and Southern Therapy Services provide comprehensive physical therapy in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, aquatic therapy arenas, school contracts, hospital contracts, and home health settings.
