Patient Information
Welcome to Southern Therapy Services, Inc. We strive to make your visits with us informative, cost efficient, and return you to a  normal lifestyle as quickly as possible. We have prepared this information to assist you with any questions that you may have.  

Parking:         

Convenient parking is located in close proximity to our facility. Handicap parking is also available for your convenience.

Cancellation:

As a benefit to you, we ask that patients keep all scheduled appointments. We realize that something might interfere with your ability to come. Please call as soon as you realize you cannot keep your appointment.

First Visit:    

Your first appointment requires additional time. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the appointed time to complete necessary paperwork, receive orientation and insurance information. Your first visit will require the therapist to do a thorough evaluation, plan a course of treatment, and educate you about your condition. The first visit will take longer than the regular visits.

Scheduling:

For your regular visits, please arrive a few minutes early and sign in at the front desk. We strive to stay on schedule, so please check with the receptionist if you have waited longer than 15 minutes from your scheduled appointment time.

Therapist:   

You will be assigned a qualified and highly trained professional to help in your recovery. We have a team of therapists that are specially trained to evaluate and treat problems throughout the body. Our staff also attends numerous continuing education programs yearly to stay on top of the most current treatment regimens.

Attire:

Therapy requires activity on your part. Please wear appropriate attire suitable for your condition. We want you to be comfortable. For your convenience, we do have shower and changing rooms.

Insurance:

Your insurance is a contract between you and your carrier. You are ultimately responsible for your charges. Southern Therapy Services, Inc. currently participates with most major   insurance plans. We will be glad to assist with insurance pre-certification. Some policies are limited on their coverage and our staff will alert you of these limitations. We ask all patients to pay their deductible and co-pays at the time of service. We bill most insurance electronically as a service to you. Please educate yourself beforehand or ask one of our qualified personnel upon arrival of first time visit.

Southern Therapy Services, Inc. is committed to complying with all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to the privacy of health information. We have implemented this HIPAA Privacy Compliance Plan to safeguard the confidentially and privacy of protected health information.
